Not every job is a driveway. A lot of what we pour is the slab nobody sees: shed and workshop pads, HVAC and generator pads, hot-tub pads, slabs under decks, equipment pads for businesses, and footings for walls, columns and additions. Small pours still need a proper base — a pad that heaves or cracks under a shed is a pad that was set on loose dirt.

We size the slab to the load. A shed pad gets 4 inches of 3,000 PSI concrete with wire mesh; an equipment pad or a slab that carries a vehicle gets thicker, higher-strength concrete with rebar. Footings are dug below frost line, formed and poured to the dimensions your plan or inspector calls for, and we handle the permit allowance when one is needed.

How we do it: measure and quote on site, mark utilities, excavate and compact a crushed-stone base, form to exact dimensions, place reinforcement, pour and finish (broom, smooth or trowel), and cut control joints. Hard-to-reach backyard pads can be hand-mixed on site when a truck can’t get there.
